FONDREN URBAN ULTRA

The Fondren Urban Ultra is a 12 hour timed road race for individual runners. The 3.1 mile loop is run in the beautiful neighborhood of Fondren in Jackson with a mix of hills and flat sections. Each loop begins and ends at Fondren Church where you can place your nutrition, tent, coolers, etc. The race sells out early each year so do not wait to register!

USA Track and Field CERTIFIED COURSE

The 5k loop is a USATF certified course that will be used to record Mississippi state records in the 50k, 100k, and 12 hour timed race. Currently this is the only state certified Ultra course. As a MS resident, run this race and you may be an ultra state record holder after this race.

DETAILS

TIME: 7am--7pm
LOCATION: 3327 Old Canton Rd. Jackson, MS
AID STATIONS: one at the start/finish area with water, Tailwind, and sweet and salty food.
RULES: The race will be chip timed, and individual racers must check in each lap. Individual runners can take breaks but must remain in the staging area. A full 5k lap has to be completed in the 12 hour time limit to be counted.
